I'm Claire, and I've been face painting for over 15 years.
That special 'mirror moment' when a child sees their painted design for the first time is the best thing about my job! Face painting should be an enjoyable experience for everyone, I will talk to children and have a little joke with them. If a child is a little hesitant I will show them my paints, and paint a little on my own hand first to show them it's nothing to be scared of, simply let them feel the wet or dry brush on their skin, or I sometimes even let them have a quick go painting me so they can be set at ease.
I have extensive experience working with children with additional needs, adapting my working practice to ensure they are fully comfortable and able to join in, in a way that suits their individual needs.
I provide a fun, friendly service, always striving to improve my skills and be polite at all times. I aim to meet all client requirements, including painting to a theme when required.
I'm fully insured as a member of Equity and follow strict hygiene standards for your safety and peace of mind, using only high quality professional face paints designed for use on skin, and other cosmetic grade materials (e.g. body glitter, glitter etc). I cover Leeds, Bradford, Wakefield, and Huddersfield, and surrounding areas of West Yorkshire. I am based in Birstall near Batley. I offer face painting, glitter tattoos and balloon modelling for all types of event. I cover everything from birthday parties and weddings, to corporate event days and festivals.
